The Frozen Star Crystal was hidden within Hoshi’s body before she arrived in the moon kingdom. When in its solid form, the frozen star crystal has the appearance of a small pendent sized star. The crystal itself acts like a sponge, soaking in power applied near it by things like the silver crystal, golden crystal and even direct infusion. However it isn’t attuned to the powers star seeds/sailor crystal produce. As such, senshi powers, attacks and other powers related to starseeds or senshi crystals are not affected by the star crystal.

Like a sponge, the star crystal has a limit to the amount of power it can store. This limit is 50% of the power expanded by the silver crystal when destroying Queen Beryl. Also, again like a sponge, the star crystal can be overwhelmed by a massive power source. For example, a slow, steady healing beam from the silver crystal would be absorbed by the star crystal. A fast, aggressive attack from the silver crystal would overwhelm its absorbing abilities and harm the holder of the star crystal. The star is almost see-through when it contains no power reserves. When it is storing power, the light it emits can change depending on the type of power it has absorbed.

Hoshi's computer was found on the shuttle. It is a scanning device and computer made by the same unknown power that built the shuttle. The minicomputer was modified by Hoshi and Ami to enable it to connect to Ami's Mercury computer. When they are both linked together the speed and scanning range of both devices are slightly upgraded. The computer is similar in design to a modern day 'palm pilot' hand held computer. It has a purple case with Caloris' logo on the lid in gold.

Hoshi's computer is based around scanning and data communication, while the Mercury computer is more of a general database with scanning capabilities. Hoshi's computer is unable to store as much data, while Ami's is unable to scan as effectively.

The 'Tazer' is a hand held energy beam weapon about the same size as a 'Desert Eagle' Pistol. The weapon is primarily used to stun people, however it does have a kill (vaporise) setting and a cut/heat setting. The beam itself appears bright orange in colour, which makes it look like Sailor Venus' 'Crescent Beam' attack. Because of this, it is sometimes referred to as a 'Portable Crescent Beam Generator' or a Cresgen. Although it can be used while its holder is in senshi form, close proximity to active senshi powers causes the power cells to destabilize, making it unsafe to use while in senshi form. A total of four Tazer Beams were found in compartments on the shuttle. The weapons automatically recharge while stored in their compartments.
